Meet our store manager, Bryan Downing

Bryan started in the flooring business in 1986 as an installer at the Davenport plant in Carpetland. In 1990 he became a self-employed fitter and after thirty years in the business returned to Carpetland and quickly rose to the rank of assistant manager. Bryan became Cedar Rapids Store Manager in 2021 a durable, quality installation.

Originally from Moline, IL, Bryan enjoys watching baseball and football (Cubs and Bears, sorry Iowa fans) and taking long walks daily. He has three children: Melissa, Kimberly, and Ryan, and three grandchildren: Jackson, Emily, and Landon. Bryan says, "There is nothing in my career that I have enjoyed as much as meeting the many amazing clients and employees I have had the good fortune to work with over the years and I look forward to more each day hold true."

Meet our branch manager Brooke Ottens

Born in Scott County and raised in Eldridge, IA, Brooke has been on the Carpetland team since 2010. She brings nearly 13 years of flooring experience, both in commercial sales and as an assistant manager. Brooke is a passionate and team-oriented individual who brings out the best in herself and her teammates to consistently provide quality customer service. Brooke lives in Fulton, IL with her husband Joseph and four daughters. She is also active in her daughters' activities including Girl Scout ASA Softball.

Meet our Store Manager, Jason Ciluffo

Originally from Grand Rapids, MI, Jason moved to the Quad Cities in 1998 to continue his work in the flooring industry. He started out as a teenager in a Carpetland USA department store. During his 25 years of experience, Jason has worked in many areas of the flooring industry. He is passionate about working with clients to turn their design vision into reality while creating a space they truly love. Jason believes that customer service and listening to what the customer wants is key to the success of any business. He is an active member of DARI and the QC Chamber of Commerce. In his spare time he enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife Michelle and daughter Kaley. Also, he likes nature. Jason currently lives in Le Claire, IA with his family.

Store Manager: Lisa Erickson

Lisa Erickson is from Dubuque, Iowa. She started her career at Carpetland Dubuque in March 2008 in retail. With a background in decoration and interior design, she is able to use her knowledge and experience creatively to best meet the wants and needs of her clients. Lisa offers unparalleled customer service - she fully understands that everyone she meets is different - and she tailors her approach to exceed your expectations and meet your needs. She loves the personal interaction with each customer. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and organizing annual fishing, camping, and canoeing tournaments. She is a hands-on grandmother and believes in the philosophy that it takes a village. Lisa volunteers in the community wherever she is needed and is involved in several organizations. She also practices yoga and meditation. His passion is Renaissance art and finding the perfect latest addition to create the Victorian garden of your dreams.

Meet our Store Manager Adrianna Beardsley

Adrianna was born and raised in the Galesburg area. Raised in Oneida, she was a graduate of ROWVA High School and Carl Sandburg College. She has been with Carpetland USA since March 2008. Adrianna lives in Rio, IL with her sons Alex and Aidan, who enjoy sports in their free time. During her career in the flooring industry, she has increased her knowledge and achieved goals year after year.

Meet our store manager, Scott Bailey

Scott was born in Silvis, IL and still resides in the Quad Cities. He and his wife Angie have three daughters, Chelsea, Brittany and Morgan. They also have two grandchildren, Lilah and Liam. Scott has been with Carpetland since 1996. He started at the Moline Store and moved to the Galesburg Store in April 2000. Now he's returned to the Quad Cities to run the Moline store. Scott is a member of the Western Illinois Business Association.

Meet our store manager Jason Smith

Jason Smith was born and raised in Sterling, Illinois. He has lived in the Sauk Valley area for over 40 years. Jason attended Sauk Valley Community College where he majored in business administration. Jason has been in the flooring industry since 1995. He has worked for Carpetland USA in Sterling for over 10 years and has been Manager there for the last 5 years. Jason resides in Rock Falls, IL with his wife Brenda, daughter Jordan, sons Justin and Jeremy, and two grandchildren, Carter and Kenna. Jason is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and is involved with the Sterling/Rock Falls YMCA. Jason enjoys working in retail and the challenges it offers.

Meet our store manager Turner Van Hooreweghe

Turner was born and raised in Waterloo, Iowa, where he attended Waterloo West High School. He then attended the University of Iowa, where he graduated in 2012. Turner has been in the flooring industry for almost 10 years. He started out in Carpetland's Sales and Contracts department when the Waterloo location opened in January 2013. On September 1, 2013, he assumed the position of branch manager. Turner takes great pride in caring about every customer, contractor and company he enjoys working with.
